Damn this is sweet

Got my new car today after ordering it in Bahrain and waiting several months. This thing is sweet. I've been driving JEEPs and SUVs for more than a decade and this BMW 335i Coupe is so fast and more responsive it's sick. Plus it's got all kinds of buttons and gizmos, unlike my 75 CJ5 which doesn't even have a radio.
I love this thing.

I know. It's looking pretty gloomy out this evening, so I'll take a picture tomorrow when the sun's out. I wouldn't want to give you a dark and gloomy picture of my new girl. Are you supposed to name cool new cars?

Is it a "euro" version of the 335? I am not sure if a Euro version of BMW's exist anymore as they must be built to U.S. crash and emissions standards, plus TUV standards so it all may be redundant at this point.

No Harley,...yet. Divorce was almost 7 years ago now so no real connection there. Viagra,..no need. Hair transplant,...not if my Dad or any of my male relatives are any indication.

I just don't get the BMW thing. We test drove a bunch when we were looking for a new car. Sure, they drive great and handle really well, but the seats in those cars are *so* uncomfortable!! It's like sitting on a subway seat!! Why do they make the seats so hard!? We ended up with a Saab instead and I love it! I can understand how much you love driving the BMW after what you've been driving, but I still don't understand why they make their seats so uncomfortable. If you have to drive that car for a long distance trip your butt will fall asleep!

It's so that you are held steady while taking the chicanes at 200kph on the local track, of course. Can't have your butt sliding around the seats at 3 Gs, now can you? It's not

I don't have a comment about BMW or Saab seats (having never even sat in either), but your comment struck me as pretty amusing since I'm guessing most of the BMW driving population would think that sitting on any bike seat for, say, a 6 hour ride (an quite probably a 1 hour ride) would be the epitome of discomfort compared to the drivers seat of a BMW.

Gratz on the Bimmer. I'm jealous
The 335 is truly an incredible machine. Inline 6 with twin turbos FTW.
I don't have a problem with the seats in my 530 on long road trips, I think they are pretty comfortable actually. There is something about the whole driving experience in a bimmer that I haven't found in other cars. Comfort, handling, access to everything. They just feel different.

Awww....between the car, the motorcycle and a sweet bike? Somehow you gotta figure out how to tow all three of them around together. :-)

About a year ago My girlfriend wanted to trade in her convertible Mercedes on a newer one of the same model(CLK 350). I told her she had to drive the new 335 conv. before making a decision. So we go to the BMW lot and are told we would have to get on a waiting list for 4 months or something. I convinced her this would be good, so we take the demo for a test drive. I guess I shouldnt of driven that beast because by the time we got out she was running back to the Merc. dealership. That car was a
BLAST
to drive. She never drives the damn Mercedes. I drive the little girls car because my SUV sucks down the fuel. I really wish I would of, err I mean she would of gotten the 335.
I'm trying to get down to my original weight. 6lbs 7 ounces.
