Blue Cheer and my personal shame.
Can't Post
As you all know I am the greatest music snob on Earth. My taste in music is perfection and I pity everyones sad attempts at making a solid music collection. Most of you fail at this in a really tragic and criminal way. So as I sit on high and judge you I hear of a band called Blue Cheer. I listen I am floored at the greatness of these greezers. I am then smashed in the head with the news that these masters have been rockin' for 40 years and I have never heard of them.
40 fuckin' years of bad ass rock and I didn't know it. How is this possible? How did I miss this proud proud trio of heavy hitters. As I turn my anger into me I turn it on to you. Fuck you and the world for not bringing them to my attention. You guys had a nuclear bomb in your pocket to trow at me and knock me off my mountain top and you held on to it. Well your chance is gone. You had me in your sights and you blew it.
Blue Cheer are gods and should be worshiped as such. I demand that these old guys rock for a hundred years and make you trimble in your boots.
Long live Blue Cheer!

fellow geezer, although I have a healthy respect for classic rock, this band is not worthy of the lofty accolades you have bestowed upon them.

Saw them in concert at the Kiel Opera House in St. Louis circa 1968 or so. No one does “Summertime Blues” like Blue Cheer. They played for about an hour, had a fight on stage about something (punches were thrown), and then played for another hour. I had no idea they were still around. In those days if it was not Blue Cheer, The Who or Cream, it was not in my 8 Track. Did I just say 8 Track? I guess its been a while....

Sorry just another Cream knock off with a name derived from a laundry detergent.
The Black Keys have already perfected this sound with the same marshall stack. I know its blasphemy but some things in music are better today then yesterday.

LESSER LIFE FORM! Who are you to judge? NO ONE! I demand you listen to Nirvana for an hour a night for two years. If you like Nirvana then may I suggest you jump in front of bus and end your sorry life.

You speak the truth that some new things are better then old but your take down of Blue Cheer is terrible. No Super Tramp for you for a year!

Go to the Keys website and play the laser game ... your demeanor and musical taste will reach new heights. All will be well with the world.

Bleagh. Britney Spears on her meds produces a better sound than this copycat garage band.

SMALL MINDED DOG! Go back to your comfy heavily produced garbage. I just pray to the High God Thurston Moore you can pull the needle of Top 40 out for your veins and learn some taste. For a lesson in good music you will listen too Lyle Loveitt and His Large Band for an hour a night until your lesson is earned.

Hey Tibbs I spent an evening with Blue Cheer two weeks ago; Motel 6, soundcheck, Starbucks portraits.
Give me some time and poke me with a stick and I might be able to put something on Youtube......
Put it to you this way....my wife is a drummer......"Honey, y'ever want to quit it all and make it in rock-n-roll, I got some video from a Motel 6 might change ya mind."
