This would be for a friend. I've sent her an email, but she's at the gym at the moment. I'll get back to you when I know, but good luck selling it. These are very nice training units and I like that they work with Trainer Road and Sufferfest videos.

It is still available. The price of $700 includes shipping within the US. If you live really close to Minnesota, I can drop perhaps the price a little bit, but I am guessing it will be around $50 for shipping and packing, so you can pretend its $650 for the trainer + $50 shipping if you want.

Would you consider $600 including shipping to Canada?

It does have the USB cord, cadence sensor, and mounting bracket. It does not have the HR strap or Software CD (which is irrelevant as it can be downloaded for free). The model year is 2011, I believe. It is definitely fully functional.

Quick question - is this the model that broadcasts ANT+ (e.g. talks to Garmin devices), or only the private ANT channel to the Joule?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I believe it talk to Garmin (I can double check tonight if you want) but the main advantage of this one is using the Joule 3.0 you have 2-way communication so you can have the Joule control what wattage the trainer demands of you. Like a simplified computrainer with more updated technology.

I'm pretty sure that all of the Powerbeams are Ant+Actually, CycleOps sold the newer black framed version for about 6 months that used a proprietary Ant signal and not the Ant+ open signal that can be received by a Garmin etc. DCRainmaker commented on that in his blog. I had bought one of those units and CycleOps had me send the resistance unit to them and they returned the open architecture Ant+ version free of charge
