This is for a friend of mine who is currently riding an old, steel frame bike that is wayyyy too big for him. He got it from a friend and he's looking to upgrade. He probably has about 500 bucks to spend.
So... not looking for a P3C (maybe a P3SL)... just kidding.
Looking for a road bike, it can be a few years old (obviously) and would prefer a bike that has a decent frame... components can be upgraded later. I just want to get this guy on a bike that he fits on so he can start putting some miles on it without coming back crippled.
Someone in the NY/NJ/CT area if possible, so we can come take a look. Let me know what you've got and if you've got a roadie (bike not person) collecting dust in your garage, let me know...
