New rig will be 700c. Old is/was 650c. Nuf' said about why I want to switch. If you're headed the other way and you share my taste in race wheels, let's do this. Prefer trade, but will consider sale. You make the offer. Prefer to unload both at once, and will consider those offers first, but if things just don't work out that way I'll consider breaking up the pair.



Both were acquired used (eBay) in excellent condition in 2003/2004. Used primarily as race wheels (95% of their mileage while I owned them) with the occasional go-fast training ride thrown in. Campaigned vigorously in 2003 & 2004 but have sat idle since...so I've added MAYBE 300-400mi to them.



Would very much prefer a 1:1 swap from 650 to 700 holding all other details constant (brands, clinchers, etc) but will consider any all offers with two exceptions: no mixed clincher/tubie setups - gotta be one or the other, and it's gotta be a Shimano cassette compatible rear end.



Will certainly consider throwing in some $$ or freebies (like a stash of new & lightly used 650c tires: kenda kaliente ironcloak...my fave race rubber...and others) to make up the difference on trades where there's an obvious value difference between what I've got and what you've got. Hell, you might get the tires no matter what. No use to me.

edit: FWIW, neither wheel has manufacturer's decals. Nice and clean and stealthy and black.

Hi, I'm just in the market for just what you've got, and I do have the following in 700 cc that I'd be willing to trade:

Rear Renn 575 disc, used once, excellent condition. 2 or 3 years old
Front Hed Alps, excellent condition, raced 3 times. 3 years old.
Front Spinergy, got from Ebay, in excellent condition.
Front Hed Jet, deep rim, older but in excellent condition.

All wheels are tubular. My first offer would be the Renn Disc and the front Spinergy as I'd like to keep the Hed Alps with it's rear partner. And I'd throw in the Hed Jet along with the Spinergy for free.

I can send pics if you'd like. What kind of Renn disc is it? Hope we can work something out quickly as I need them for ironman Germany coming up...
