FS: Youth or Small Adult 47cm Cannondale R400 Can't Post
Well, my kids have outgrow this great bike so it's time to sell. It's a size 47cm Cannondale R400 with 650c wheels. I think I purchsed it in 2001. Full 9 spd Shimano Tiagra. Changed crank from triple to compact double to make the whole shifting thing easier for the kids to grasp. Changed BB from square taper to ISIS with crank change. Wheels were upgraded to Ritchey DS. Has Michelin Pro Race tires on it. Will provide both a 90mm and 60mm stem with the bike. Everything works perfectly. Minimal dings on frame. No crashes. No dents. Shifters are a little scuffed up from leaning on walls, etc. Typical stuff.

Bike has massively good race karma. My son won the Timberman kids triathlon 2 years in a row on this bike. Also won the "new england youth triathlon championship" (race named by the promoter, FIRM) on this bike. Karen Smyers held the bike while I got my camera out of my backpack at Timberman so I could get a shot of her shaking my son's hand. Oh yeah, this bike is stacked with mojo!!!

I lent the bike to my boss's wife so she could do a tri. She used her own pedals and rethreaded the original pedals incorrectly. Nice, huh? The bike shop cleaned up the crank's pedal threads and verified that they are still good. Really, it's a non-issue but the potential buyer will need to know to take extra care when installing the pedals.

$350 + shipping from 27516 (Chapel Hill, NC). Probably looking at about $50 east of the Miss. More out west.

Is this bike still available?

If so, can you tell me what the standover height is of this bike?

Yes, the bike is still available. The standover is 28.25".
