SOLD 2006 Orbea Onix, full carbon, Ultegra 10, Mavic Ksyrium SL, $2000 Can't Post


For sale is my beautiful 2006 black/blue/silver Orbea Onix TDF. The 2006 model looks almost identical to the picture of the 2008 model above - will post actual pictures this weekend. More info here: http://www.orbea-usa.com/...roduct&taxid=516

Size: 51 cm, but top tube is 53.5 cm

Current retail is $2,549, but that's with the Mavic Aksium wheels. This bike has the super responsive Ksyrium SLs that cost about $1000 new. Actual cost to buy this bike new would be between $3,400-3,500. Tires are Michelin Pro 2 Race and are in good condition.

Since its purchase in the summer of 2006, the bike has been used very little due to training for IMs and TTs on my tri bikes. Raced twice in the full El Tour de Tucson (platinum, baby!), ridden up to the top of Mt. Lemmon and back a few times, and made a few appearances on club rides about town. I estimate the mileage to be between 1000-1500. Bike is in perfect condition save one tiny nick on the top tube. I am only selling it because it is slightly too big for me (I am 5'5" and ride a 48cm P3C), and I will be buying the same bike in a 48cm model. I LOVE this bike and the wheels, and it's hard to sell it, even though I know I'll be getting another one soon.
