Do you know the roundness and trueness of the Hed 3 Front?

19/26 for the front
18/28 for the rear
are the markings on the inside of the rims.
they are very smooth and have no hops or wiggles

I'm sorry, what I don't know about wheels could fill a book- what does it mean for a wheel to be an "'A' Wheel"?

Re: Cervelo sold still offering HED 3's clinchers [red_and_black] [In reply to] Can't Post

Since the wheels are made from carbon, they cannot be 100% round like a metal wheel can. Therefore HED expects all of their full carbon wheels to have slight imperfections. These imperfections are measured as roundness and trueness. The more the error exists in the wheel the more the wheel will hop and/or wobble. HED measures their wheels by the thousandth of an inch. Anything less than .030 is considered an "A", and then "B" wheels go up from there followed by "C" wheels. This wheel set has no recognizable ride imperfection, and rides very smooth without noticeable hops or wobbles. Hope that clarifies things.
